Since dah masuk 2017 so I will be giving some tips to the spm leavers of what they have to do now.
#1 - Do career tests
This first step is a must in my opinion. For some it's quite confusing what course they want to further their studies. Just Google up and search for career test. It would be a very good help to find your passion so at least you have something you know you like and capable of. Do this first step and you'll be less confused.

#2 - Search as much as information you can get about the course
After you have known what course are you going to study now it's time to find some information about it. Of course, you're curious what will you learn in the course. You can read personal blogs and etc.
As for someone who's still in the foundation of science, I'll tell a little bit of what the science foundation students learn. It's not science if there's no physics, chemistry, biology and maths. So basically those four subjects are the main in foundation of science. You'll be having 2 semester only. One semester lasts for about 3 to 4 months. Its a very short period honestly. Simply said when you take science foundation it's just like an extending learning process from what you have learnt during schools that's why science school students tend to choose science course.
#3 - Talk to your parents about it
This step should be after you have the information of the course or else when your parents ask you what the course is about, you have nothing to tell. Just go and tell em that you want to pursue in that certain courses. And if they responds opposite to what you have thought, listen first and try to rationalize every words. If you think you can try to convince them. For some parents they don't mind what their child choice but for some they already have what they what the child to pursue. So it's time to talk to them kindly and show that you are determined and capable. Fighting!

Solat istikharah. Whatever it is to Allah we will turn back. He is the Greatest and Almighty. Always have faith in Him. Even if at the end it's not your choice. Indeed Allah is the best planner.
